Marry Me & Ski Free
The 19th Annual Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at The Ptarmigan Roost Cabin, elevation 12,440 feet, located at the top of Lift #2.
Upon completion of the ceremony, all couples and guests will ski or ride down the hill. Hooray! The after party does not start until 1:30, so couples and guests will have time to take a couple runs or grab a bit to eat or drink in the cafeteria/bar until the start of the after party. The after party will be held on the Basin Patio at the base area. Wedding cake and sparkling cider will be served at 1:30pm with raffles and best dressed contest starting at 2:00pm.
Our sponsors have provided a honeymoon prize pack including lodging, dinner and two days of skiing, which will be awarded to the best-dressed couple. There will also be a raffle with great prizes provided by Coors, Pepsi, KSMT and Loveland Ski Area. Each couple will receive a special gift bag as well. Our long-time partners Coors and Pepsi will provide beverages, and a DJ from KSMT will be spinning tunes during the after party.
