Echo Mountain Park
If you’re in Denver and you want to ski or board in less than an hour, you need to get to Echo Park! Unlike any other ski area in the region, Echo Mountain is “dedicated to unleashing your inner freestyle self”. This is not your typical luxury resort, fine dining and valet parking venue – Echo Mountain is “pure park and pure mountain”. We cater to the snowboarder and skier who wants to rise to 10,650 feet, find awesome night skiing and riding on lighted terrain, hear great music, and meet skiers and riders of all ages and ability levels. Check out Echo on December 5th for a one-of-a-kind competition featuring vehicle-themed jibs and jumps with the Scion Traffic Jam. We’re having a blast, and we want to meet you. Come early and stay late – we’re only minutes away!!

You can forget about staying in traffic on I-70 for hours – From Denver, head west on I-70 to Evergreen Parkway (CO-74), Exit #252; follow Evergreen Parkway approximately three miles to Squaw Pass Road (Hwy 103) and turn right; follow Squaw Pass (Hwy 103) 12 miles to Echo Mountain. If you become an Echo Pass Holder there are discounts for events and you save $80 on your ’09/10 unlimited season pass for only
$169! We have already made some serious improvements at Echo Mountain, adding 40 more features, 30% more terrain, and doubling the amount of lighted terrain on the mountain. Look for a new beginner area & handle-tow lift, new glades, and freestyle woods area too.
We are totally aware of the environmental impact, and we’re doing everything possible to preserve the beauty and natural area. “Echo Mountain uses the most up-to-date water saving devices throughout the facility. Tree cutting has been kept to a minimum, strictly adhering to Forest Service guidelines. During construction
EMP has spent thousands of dollars to control erosion and runoff and have removed dozens of abandoned cars.” In addition to making all the improvements, being responsible and environmental – we are just ready to have a good time! Try out the Pond skim… if you dare. Even Tigers and little kids can do it. Can you? There are so many things to do with your new friends here. Echo Mountain is the newest, closest, cheapest (and probably the most fun) ski and snowboard area to the Denver Metro Region. Are you still at home?… Start driving!
