Sometimes a drive through the country is just the kind of Colorado outing you’re in the mood for. Without a lot of planning, it’s a chance to get out of town, leave the rat race behind and get a breath of fresh air. Maybe you’re thinking getting out to see the fall colors and feel the brisk fall air in your face. Whatever the reason, there’s a scenic drive close by that will satisfy your road trip urges. Now the drives described in this section require no special vehicles, just a conventional car in good mechanical condition and a desire to hit the open road!
