Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site
Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site features a reconstructed 1840’s adobe fur trading post on the mountain branch of the Santa Fe Trail where traders, trappers, travelers, and Plains Indian tribes came together in peaceful terms for trade. Today, living historians recreate the sights, sounds, and smells of the past with guided tours, demonstrations, and special events.

Colorado State Fairgrounds
All year the Fairgrounds function as a multi-purpose entertainment complex located in Pueblo, Colorado. The largest permanent building is the State Fair Events Center. While the Events Center is usually known for hosting Hip Hop, Country and Rock n’ Roll Concerts it is a versatile building capable of housing Monster Truck Shows, Professional Bull Riding, and Basketball. This diversity of function extends to the rest of the Colorado State Fairgrounds. We are a full service facility capable of holding almost any sized group comfortably and safely. Greenway and Nature Center
Has a new name…The mission of the Nature & Raptor Center of Pueblo is to provide quality education and conservation programs, wildlife rehabilitation, and recreational opportunities related to the environment as well as the natural and cultural history of the area.The Nature & Raptor Center of Pueblo is located in beautiful Rock Canyon on the banks of the Arkansas River. A delicate blend of aquatic, riparian, transition and semi-arid grassland habitats provide homes to a wealth of plants and animals.

Rosemount Museum
Built in 1893, the 37-room Rosemount mansion was home to the John A. and Margaret Thatcher family and named for Mrs. Thatcher’s favorite flower. It remained a family residence for 75 years. Designed by noted New York architect Henry Hudson Holly and two years under construction, the mansion was completed in 1893.

Pueblo Zoo
Open year-round, the Pueblo Zoo is located within City Park in Pueblo, Colorado. Visitors, including those using strollers or wheelchairs, enjoy an easy stroll through beautifully landscaped grounds that lead to Serengeti Safari, North American Grasslands, the Australian Outback, and an Asian Adventure. There is a tropical rain forest to visit and penguins to watch “flying” underwater. A shipwreck journey around the world is available in the Islands of Life building.
