Central City Opera House opened its doors in 1878 and has been a famous landmark in ColoradoCentral City is a fascinating historic Colorado town in Gilpin County very near it’s sister city Black Hawk. It has fun events, saloons, gambling and good times year round. The Central City Opera House is famous and “The face on the bar room floor” is the stuff of legends.
