Pioneer Town in Cedaredge

Located in the middle of town, and staffed entirely by Volunteers – the Pioneer Town is an outstanding museum of 23 buildings with displays representing the historical period of the late 1800’s and the early 1900’s. Walk down the boardwalks of the old town to feel what it was like in the 1880′s. See the Sand Creek Schoolhouse, an 1881 log cabin, wooden silos standing side by side which are on the National Historic Registry due to their unique 9 and 11 multi-sided construction. Stop in the well-stocked Coalby Store where pioneers picked up supplies, mail and the latest town news. Come see this and much more! The AppleShed

The AppleShed Gallery offers a truly unique shopping experience. Not only is it a fine art gallery, but they have home decor, furniture and clothing as well as a wine tasting, a fruit stand, deli and espresso shop, gifts, and of course Apples! What was once merely an apple packing shed is now a very popular and interesting destination. Come see why. Located at 250 South Grand Mesa Drive in Cedaredge, Colorado. The AppleShed is open 7 days a week – 9:00 – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday and 9:00 – 4:00 pm weekends.
