Located right to the west of the main highway 9 entering Breckenridge is the “Breck Rec Center” which is open to the public and has a huge amount of fun activities for the whole family. There are daily rates as well as punch passes for longer visits available for both adults and kids. With fitness and wellness classes, personal trainers, a climbing wall, tennis courts, pool and aquatics area, childcare and general facilities areas – Breckenridge Rec is a great place to spend the day. The pool has two pools (one with a spiral slide) and two spas, a steam room and sauna.

“After getting off the mountain from a day of skiing, or after a strenuous hike, the pools and spas are great places to spend some time with the family. Our Leisure Pool has a large slide that both children and adults can enjoy. It also has three play features. They are operated by a hand crank allowing water to spray or dump back into the pool. A small slide keeps the little ones happy. Other amenities include a lazy river swim stream, basketball hoop and a vortex pool. In addition to four swim lanes, the Lap Pool has two basketball hoops and a rope swing (check schedule below for swing times). If you are here enjoying one of our beautiful summers, come and enjoy “The Beach” which offers a large grassy area as well as lawn chairs for those who just want to enjoy the sunshine.”

Drop-In Group Fitness Classes are available at the Rec Center and are included in your daily admission rate including yoga, pilates, cycling, low impact aerobics, water aerobics, kickboxing, endurance and toning, Zumba and the Les Mills class – BODYPUMP™. If you are in the area and want to have a party for the kids, there are party packages available that include different themed activities for you and your guests – “Wet and Wild Party” (Pool party), “Rocking Party” (Rock wall climbing), ”Pump it Up Party” (includes mats, tunnels and inflatables in the gym), “Party Room” (create your own fun in the party room for a 2 hr. block), “Ice Arena Party” (Ice skating, cake and ice cream for you and guests).
