The Molly Brown Campground is located on the shores of Turquoise Lake in the Turquoise Lake Recreation Area. This 48 site campground in the San Isabel National Forest is just minutes from the historic Silver and Gold boom town of Leadville Colorado. The campsites are shaded by Lodgepole pines creating a relaxing forest campground. There are are a number of modern facilities available in the Molly Brown campground too, making your stay here a comfortable one.
Being located on the shores of the beautiful high mountain Turquoise Lake doesn’t hurt either! Activities associated with the lake can keep you as busy as you want to be. Boating water skiing, fishing as well as other water sports make this a popular Colorado camping destination so make sure to make reservations, otherwise you may not get the chance to stay here. You could take a drive over to Leadville, this is one of the most historic towns in Colorado. There are museums, shops and restaurants that the whole family will enjoy. There are some other scenic drives near the Molly Brown campground that are well worth the fuel too! Wildlife viewing, hiking, biking and backpacking are some of the other activities to participate in when visiting this Colorado campground.

- Make campsite reservations a minimum of 4 days prior to your arrival or up to 6 months in advance; First come first serve sites may also be available.
- This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends and a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends.
