Willow Creek Campground is next to the Willow Creek Reservoir in the Arapaho National Forest near Granby, Colorado. It is part of the ANRA (Arapaho National Recreational Area) and so is subject to a user fee in addition to the campground fee. The campground sits at 8,400 ft. and has Lodgepole Pine, sagebrush and aspen trees. Of the 34 sites in the campground, 15 are suited to tents and the remaining 19 are suited to RV’s. Grills are available at all sites. There are 3 water hydrants in the camp and vault toilets which are handicapped accessible. The usual season for this campground is Memorial Day through Labor Day depending on the weather.
Activities in the area include fishing in the Willow Creek Reservoir for brook and brown trout, rainbow trout and salmon. A boat ramp is provided about 0.4 mi. east of the campground on CR 40. Non motorized boats can be carried down from some walk-in tent sites. Hiking, mountain bike riding and horseback riding can be enjoyed in many areas. Supply Creek trail, Wolverine Trail, Outlet Trail, Shadow Mountain Trail, Gilsonite Trail, are all close by the campground. In the ANRA – the East Shore Trail which is part of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trails, the AA Barn Loop Trail, Roaring Fork and Monarch Lake Trails are also available. There is an Osprey platform for bird watching in the campground as well.

| Location: in the Arapaho National Recreation Area (ANRA), six miles northwest of Granby on US Highway 34, then three miles west on County Road 40 (on Willow Creek Reservoir) Turn left at sign onto Rt. 40 (dirt) and go 2.7 miles to the Willow Creek Reservoir sign at “T” intersection. Turn left and go 1.1 miles to campground sign. Turn right at sign into campground. |
