I just talked to the ranger. She said they did drain the lake so the fishing is poor. She also said that they didn’t kill off the pike.
We had not heard any news about Chapman Reservoir being drained and our search didn’t turn up any information either. We have contact the Forest Service and requested any information that they could provide. We’ll post their reply as soon as we receive it. Thanks for posting your question!
I heard that the reservoir was going to be drained in order to kill off the pike that someone had put in. Did this occur and if so, will the lake be stocked with trout prior to June? My family and I are planning a trip in late June.
Thanks
