Stove Prairie Landing Campground is located in the Roosevelt National Forest in the Cache La Poudre Canyon and sits along the Cache La Poudre River. It is in an open area with Ponderosa Pine and Aspen trees. Of the 9 sites in the campground, 5 are suited to RV’s and the remaining 4 are more suited to tenting. The road in the camp is paved, there is one water hydrant and one restroom which is handicapped accessible. There are both handicapped accessible parking spaces, and wheelchair trails in this campground. The season for this area is year round, depending on the weather.
Activities in the area include hiking Young Gulch, Sheep Creek Trail, Mt. McConnel Trail or Grey Rock, trout fishing, canoeing or kayaking in the Cache La Poudre or Lone Pine Lake, mountain biking at Young Gulch (2 miles east), Stove Prairie Road, or Wintersteen Trail, scenic driving, outfitter/private rafting, 4-wheel driving, and wildlife watching. Pets are ok, but must be on a leash at all times.

| Location: Drive 10 miles north of Fort Collins on U.S. Highway 287. Turn left (west) onto Colorado Highway 14 (Poudre Canyon) and travel 16 miles. The campground is located on the north side of the road. |
