The Narrows Campground is located in the Roosevelt National Forest on Highway 14 up the Cache La Poudre Canyon. The upper or western section of the campground is suited to RV camping and sits on an open meadow on the Cache La Poudre River. It has 7 sites and additional sites for day picnic use. The eastern section, or the lower camp has 8 sites in the trees and close to the river and is tenting only. The roads are paved, there is water available in both sections and two restrooms which are handicapped accessible. The usual season for this campground is mid-May through October.
Activities in the area include trout fishing in the Cache La Poudre River, whitewater rafting as well. The Canyon along the river is a beautiful scenic drive. Mountain biking, bird watching, hiking in the Medicine Bow mountains area and nearby Mount McConnel Trail is popular. The trailhead is located in the Mountain Park campground, a few miles west of Dutch George Flats. Pets are welcome, but must be on leash at all times.

Additional Information
- Make campsite reservations a minimum of 5 days prior to your arrival or up to 180 days in advance; First come first serve sites may also be available. Campsites are reservable from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
