Mountain Park Group Campground is part of the Roosevelt National Forest and is located off Highway 14 up the Cache La Poudre River in Larimer County, Colorado. The campground is on the south side of the highway, surrounded by Ponderosa Pine and across the way from the 55 site Mountain Park Campground. This group camp can accommodate up to a maximum of 100 people. The site has a parking area which will generally accommodate 25 passenger cars or 10 RVs or any combination as long as the vehicles fit on the paved surface. The site also has 2 fire grills, 8 outdoor picnic tables, a historic stone shelter with tables and electricity, and direct access to volleyball court (provide your own net and ball), a basketball court, horseshoe pits and a small playground. Reservations are recommended. Check-in 2 p.m., check-out 1 p.m. following day.
Activities in the area include river activity on the Cache La Poudre river including whitewater rafting, kayaking, trout fishing and more. Hiking trails are abundant in the area and include Kreutzer Nature Trail and Mt. McConnel Trail along with the Cache La Poudre Wilderness area. Mountain biking, horseback riding and scenic drives along with wildlife watching are favorite activities in the area.

Additional Information
- Make campsite reservations a minimum of 5 days prior to your arrival or up to 360 days in advance; First come first serve may also be available, but reservations are recommended. Campsites are reservable from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
