The Jack’s Gulch Group Campground is located in the Roosevelt National Forest. Situated among Pine and Aspen trees, this National Forest group campground will accommodate up to 100 people. The parking area will hold several cars and up to nine RV’s. There are 9 electrical outlets for RV’s to connect to and a covered picnic shelter too. The season for this Colorado campground is late May through early November, weather permitting.

Activities in the area include hiking and sightseeing in the nearby wilderness areas: Cache La Poudre Wilderness, Comanche Peak Wilderness, Rawah Wilderness and Neota Wilderness. Wildlife viewing in the area is another activity to enjoy! Other activities include mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding and photography.

Directions to Jack’s Gulch Group Campground

Location: Drive 10 miles north of Fort Collins on Hwy 287. Turn left onto Highway 14. Drive approximately 26 miles west on Highway 14 (Poudre Canyon Hwy). Turn left onto Pingree Park Road (county road 63E). Go south approximately six miles to the campground.

Be prepared when visiting this campground, it’s at least a one hour drive to the closest grocery stores and gas stations. If needed, these services can be found in Red Feather Lakes and Poudre Park Colorado.
