Grand View campground on Long Draw Road is a high altitude areaGrand View is a small, high altitude campground located about 11 miles from CO-14 on Long Draw Road. This Roosevelt National Forest is not far from Neota Wilderness and Comanche Peak Wilderness. The 8 site campground is situated in an open meadow, with Spruce and Lodgepole pine trees. All of the sites are tent sites only, are shaded, have a picnic table and fire ring or grate. The roads through the campground are dirt. There is one handicapped accessible restroom and one water hydrant. The season for this campground normally runs from July through November, depending on the weather.

Grand View campground is in the Roosevelt National ForestActivities in the area include fishing for trout in Long Draw Reservoir, La Poudre Pass Creek, and Corral Creek, hiking on the nearby Corral Creek and Poudre River trails, and horseback riding in the Neota Wilderness. No horses/pack animals permitted in the campground. Non-motorized boats are permitted in Long Draw Reservoir. Due to the beetle kill in the area, affected trees have been identified and removed by the Roosevelt Hotshots for the safety and protection of visitors and the remaining forest.

Directions to Grand View Campground

Location: Drive 10 miles north of Fort Collins on US Hwy 287. Turn left onto Colorado Hwy 14. Travel approximately 51 miles west on Highway 14 (Poudre Canyon Hwy) and turn south onto Long Draw Road (forest road 156). Drive 12 miles to campground. No overnight camping is allowed on the opposite shoreline.

Please note that there are no large towns with services nearby this campground, the closest being more than 50 miles away.
