Browns Park Campground is located about 78 miles northwest of Fort Collins and 17.5 miles north of Highway 14 on County Road 80C at an elevation of 8,400 feet. The 28 site campground is situated along Jinks Creek near the Rawah Wilderness. Most of the sites are in heavily wooded areas of aspen and Lodgepole pine, with three tent sites and the remaining 25 suitable for RV. The roads through the campground are packed dirt and sand. There are no water hydrants and two restrooms which will accommodate disabled persons. The season for this campground normally runs from May through September, (possibly November depending on the weather).
Activities in the area include hiking (near Rawah Wilderness Area) the trailhead is located northwest of the campground, fishing for trout is available in Jinx Creek and McIntyre Creek which is a tributary of Laramie River, scenic driving, 4-wheel driving, and wildlife watching. Bicycling or horseback riding along the Laramie River Road and County Road 80C offers opportunities for seeing deer, elk, and moose as well as beautiful scenery
Update: July 2011, Due to Mountain Pine Beetle activity, many pine trees have died and been removed. The landscape surrounding this campground has changed to some degree due to the impact of the MPB infestation.
Additional Services Available:
Vault toilets, fire grates and picnic tables and trash service. Drinking water is not available on site, but available at Stub Creek Ranger Station, about 1 mile east.

| Location: Drive 10 miles north of Fort Collins on Hwy 287. Turn left onto Highway 14 and drive approximately 50 miles west. Turn right onto County Road 103 (Laramie River Road) and go approximately 15 miles. At T-intersection, turn left on to County Road 80C and travel three miles to campground entrance. | |

| Be prepared when visiting this campground, it’s at least a 1 1/2 hour drive to the closest grocery stores and gas stations. If needed, these services can be found in Walden, Gould, Red Feather Lakes and Poudre Park Colorado. |
