Enjoy a relaxing walk under the light of the full moon at St. Vrain State Park!Stroll under the light of the full moon at St Vrain State Park! Join a volunteer naturalist at St. Vrain State Park for a Nature at Night full moon stroll around Pelican Pond on Saturday, December 10th, to learn about creatures that hunt and prowl the park at night. Bring your family, friends, or just yourself to search for wildlife and learn what makes these creatures of the dark so fascinating. The naturalist will guide the hike and answer questions about the moon and the nocturnal animals that call the park home. After the walk, enjoy hot cocoa and cookies as we share tales of what we saw. Participants should meet at the Camper Services Building at 6:00 pm. All ages and abilities are welcome. The trail is less than one mile long and is flat and easy.
