Colorado Mountain Plein Air Festival
Exhaust your palette at the 4th Annual Colorado Mountain Plein Air Festival! Ranging from the peaks of the Colorado Fourteeners through the rapids of the Arkansas River, to the historic towns of Buena Vista and Salida Colorado, this spectacular autumn painting festival promises to be fun, colorful, and lively. The festival will take place in Chaffee and Fremont Counties and will run from Thursday, September 15th through Sunday, September 25th, 2011.

Artists will draw inspiration from scenes found in Salida, Buena Vista, Leadville, Twin Lakes, St Elmo, Turret, Independence Pass, Marshall Pass, Clear Creek, Castle Rock Gulch, Chalk Creek, Mt Princeton, Baldwin Lake, Pomeroy Lake, Arkansas River, Mt Shavano, Big Horn Canyon and other scenic locations in South Central Colorado.
