The Historic Turner Farm was purchased by the Buena Vista Heritage organization in order to restore the old apple farm to a living museum. Monies from the Colorado Historic Fund are being used to restore the two-story house, the mother-in-law cabin, the homestead cabin, the workshop and barn. Restoration and maintenance funds are also raised from renting the farm for weddings, receptions, meetings, reunions and other events.
