62nd Annual FIBArk Whitewater Festival
Float on in June 16th – 19th, 2011, for the 62nd Annual FIBark Whitewater Festival in Historic Downtown Salida Colorado. There will be Whitewater races, Slalom competitions, Freestyle Whitewater Competitions, Arts & Crafts, Food, Carnival, Entertainment and Beer!
This year marks the 62nd anniversary of FIBArk, the nation’s oldest whitewater festival and Salida’s signature event. Since 1949, every June during the Spring snow runoff, Salida has hosted FIBArk, “First in Boating on the Arkansas River.”
