Hi Alan, Thanks for your question. Here’s the information from the Aurora Reservoir Tournament we can pass along.

      2011 Trout Tournament Boating Regulations-
“Inspections for aquatic invasive species will continue in the 2011 boating season at the Aurora Reservoir. All watercraft including fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, float tubes, pontoons, etc. must be surveyed and successfully pass inspection prior to launching. Watercraft must be clean, drained, and dry to pass inspection. Please help protect our water resources by properly cleaning and de-contaminating your boat, trailer, and other personal gear prior to arriving at the Aurora Reservoir and avoid delays the morning of the tournament by having your watercraft pre-inspected and sealed.

All activities in City of Aurora waters including the use of boats, belly-boats, etc. shall be at the discretion of the City of Aurora.

Entry into the contest does not pay for entry into the park or Watercraft Access Passes. Contestants must purchase an Aurora Reservoir Park Pass and Watercraft Access Pass separately prior to the Tournament or when entering the park on the day of the Tournament.” Call Aurora Reservoir for additional tournament information, 303-690-1286.
