Granby’s Three Lakes Fishing Contest
Enter this years Three Lakes Fishing Contest and you could win the Big Fish Prize! Over $5,000.00 in prizes will be awarded each day of this Colorado Fishing Tournament. This years contest will take place on January 28th, 29th and 30th.
Enter one day, two days or all three days in categories that include; Mackinaw, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and the coveted Grand Slam. Fishing is allowed on all three lakes: Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Reservoir and Grand Lake. Competitors’ may also fish the canal between the three lakes. Fishing begins 1/2 hour before sunrise and must stop at 4:30 pm. Award ceremonies will begin at 5:30pm each day of the tournament. Big Fish and youth winners must be present to win.
Entry Fees:
Single day – $ 30.00
Two days – $ 40.00
All three days – $ 45.00
Children under 18 are free, but if they want to be eligible for the adult prizes, they must pay the adult entry fees. Paid entry to Granby’s Three Lakes Fishing Contest includes one of the contests raffle tickets too. Raffle prizes include; Snowmobile, ATV and fishing equipment. Additional raffle tickets are available for $ 20.00/ea. Raffle tickets may also be purchased by anyone not entered into the Three Lakes contest at the same price. With one raffle ticket, the odds of winning are better than 1 in 2000. The raffle will be drawn on Sunday, January 30th at 5:30 pm, you need not be present to win.
A valid Colorado Fishing License is also required for all contestants 16 and older. All Colorado fishing regulations apply. An Arapaho National Recreation Area daily or annual pass may also be required to participate. Participants and observers should dress properly for the weather and be prepared, Colorado weather conditions can change drastically in a brief period of time. Stay hydrated as you enjoy this annual Colorado ice fishing contest and take all the necessary steps to avoid hypothermia!
