Learn to Ice Fish with DOW and Dave Bryant

DENVER, Colorado – Families interested in learning how to ice fish in Colorado are invited to join the Colorado Division of Wildlife DOW and Dave Bryant of Lake Ice USA for one of two informative ice fishing seminars. These 2 hour seminars will begin at 6:00 pm on January 27, 2011 and February 3, 2011. These ice fishing classes and are designed for all levels of experience and for anyone, young or old, that enjoys getting outdoors in the winter!

Dave Bryant, the speaker at the seminars, is a member of the National Ice Team Power Sticks Pro Staff, the Lindy Tackle Team and the managing member of Lake Ice USA. Dave has worked on local TV, and Radio over the last few years. His ice fishing techniques teach anglers to gain confidence with their presentations and ideas. Dave’s main goal is to show people that fishing is fun, especially for families! Keep an eye out for Dave’s video on vertical jigging Lakers with plastics and other species and his new TV Show featuring The Wounded Warriors enjoying fishing in the Outdoors. You can also find Dave at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Denver Colorado doing seminars and demonstrations.

More ice fishing seminar information

Both seminars will be held at the Colorado Division of Wildlife headquarters. The seminars are free but because space is limited, you need to register in order to attend. To Register, please e-mail allison.kincaid@state.co.us or call (303) 291-7291 and leave a message with names, address and phone number to register. Spaces are limited to 30 people per seminar so register early!

Please plan to arrive by 5:45, the seminar will begin promptly at 6:00. When you arrive at the DOW Campus, turn right at the northern entrance (2nd entrance) and check in at the northeast side of the building next to the Hunter Education Building.
