Annual BBQ Celebrates Colorado Agriculture
Celebrate the state’s bounty by attending the 29th Annual CSU Ag Day BBQ! Come enjoy food grown or processed from the mountains to the plains of Colorado. Colorado agricultural producers will prepare a beautiful harvest of quality Colorado food for 3,500 hungry people. The barbecue is Saturday, September 25, 2010, 10:30am-1:00pm in the parking lot south of Hughes Stadium in Fort Collins.

Ag Day offers the finest food and beverages, including apples, beans, beef, cheese, ice cream, lamb, melons, milk, pork, potatoes, soft drinks and wheat bread. Beer is also available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the scholarship program. Enjoy live music, and when you’re done savoring the taste of Colorado-grown food, you can pick up a flower to remind you of your Ag Day experience. After the feast you can watch the CSU Rams battle the University of Idaho Vandals on the football field.
Ag Day is hosted by Colorado State University College of Agricultural Sciences and Department of Intercollegiate Athletics along with Colorado agricultural organizations and associations. This is a nonprofit event with Ag Day proceeds furnishing scholarships to Colorado State University agricultural students.
