This will be the last opportunity to experience a unique adventure for the whole family, snowshoeing by moonlight! On March 27, 2010 you, your family and friends can meet at the Keystone Resort Nordic Center to enjoy this rare nighttime Nordic activity! Imagine trekking through forests and meadows, all the while bathed in the light of the moon!

Snowshoeing is great for all ages and levels of fitness. There are few recreational activities as easy to pick up, or as much fun as snowshoeing. Basically, if you can walk, you can snowshoe! The moonlight tour leaders will get you and your family into your gear and lead you on a 2 mile full moon snowshoe in the mountain and field surroundings of Keystone Resort. The mostly level terrain makes this snowshoe tour perfect for young and old! Afterward, enjoy hot and hearty soups, fresh baked breads and desserts. This experience walking among the snow covered fields and pine-scented forests is one your family will never forget!

More Full Moon Snowshoe Details

Cost: $40.00 per person. Fee includes:
- Snowshoe rental
- 2-mile moonlight tour
- Soup buffet dinner with dessert.

The minimum age to participate in this snowshoe tour is 13 years old.
Tours begin between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. depending on time of year.
$35.00 fee if you have your own snowshoes

Getting to the Full Moon Snowshoe

The tour and soup buffet dinner takes place at the Keystone Nordic Center. Keystone’s Nordic Center is situated at an elevation of 9,000+ feet above sea level in the White River National Forest.
