A wonderful combination of people and styles come together on the groomed trails of Hillcrest Golf Club in Durango, Colorado. In the summertime, the trails are a beautiful 18-hole golf course since 1969. In the wintertime, the fairways are transformed into groomed cross country ski trails for both skating and classic skiing. The course is a perfect environment for the skiers, spacious but controlled, a beautiful setting overlooking Durango and a blend of many ages and abilities of people. The cross country trails are also FREE for all to enjoy.

Opened earlier this season, the San Juan Sledders organization was responsible for grooming the snow trails. People have been enjoying this experience every day of the week since opening. The parking area by the clubhouse and the parking by the driving range both allow easy access to the trails, which loop in and around the entire 18-hole golf course. There is even a practice loop by the driving range to get warmed up, and practice your style. The only restrictions are: No snowshoes or pets. Be aware there are no services or amenities, and please stay on the groomed trails. Have FUN!
