Boulder International Film FestivalThe Boulder International Film Festival is held each year over Presidents Day weekend in Boulder Colorado. It’s developed the reputation as one of the most influential film festivals in the U.S. and was voted one of the “25 Coolest Film Festivals” by MovieMaker Magazine in 2009! Sponsored by the Colorado Film Society, over 13,000 film makers, media personalities, special guests and other film enthusiasts attended the 2008 BIFF.

The Boulder Film Festival has proudly hosted many of the film industries elite; legendary filmmakers Michael and Mark Polish, Golden-Globe nominee Maria Bello, Academy-Award nominated writer and director Susannah Grant, Director Jon Poll, Hollywood screenwriter John August, Eric Roberts, and Patrick Warburton from the television series Seinfeld as well as many other filmmakers, directors, producers and stars.

This once a year event isn’t your only opportunity to get together with fellow film enthusiasts. Mingle with the local film community the first Wednesday of every month at the BIFF / Colorado Film Society offices, 5:00-7:00 pm.
