One of the founders of Vail, Bob Parker will join friends from Colorado and beyond on Dec. 11, 2009 for a tribute and dinner to honor Mr. Parker and those who worked with him in the early days of Vail and Beaver Creek.  Parker, now 85, was the first marketing v.p. for Vail Associates and was instrumental in making Vail resort known worldwide.

This tribute will also serve to educate or remind people of how the Vail success story happened.  The Lodge at Vail will host the event starting with a reception beginning at 5 p.m. followed by a dinner and the program honoring Parker.
